Pullman Plan 3991c
Meadow Lark
 New Haven #3

Built in 1930 by Pullman as the Meadow Lark

The Meadow Lark and Shore Lark were built as a two car lot 6352 to plan 3991c. The ordered called in 3-29-30 for “General service assigned Southern Pacific.” The Meadow Lark was the end car for the all Pullman Lark train #75 and #76 for nearly a decade before moving east. The car was used in Pullman service by the New Haven for the State of Maine until it was converted into Business Car #3.

The car was generously donated to the Chesapeake Railway Association in 2006. The move and restoration began immediately. Please look and if you would like Give.
